An educated, prolific and soulful guitarist and singer. Scot is also the founder of Silver Music Studios; two music teaching facilities focusing on private exploration of specific instruments with a teaching staff of a dozen experts.
Scot's influences include Al DiMeola, Jeff Beck, Chuck Anderson, Rik Emmett, Seal, Living Colour, Francis Dunnery, Steve Stevens, Tony Levin, Pink Floyd, Dave Brubeck, Yes, Kings X, John Williams and Tchaikovsky.
After majoring in classical guitar performance (with a minor in piano), Scot honed his skills under the tutelage of Chuck Anderson (guitar lore, theory, songwriting, teaching tools) and Glenn Lyons (classical guitar and history of classical guitar)
Scot has performed or recorded with Whatsinaname, Adagio, 94 Strings, Mad Jazzsters, Myriad (The Nerve, in a former life), Smoke 'n Jax, Coco Soleil Bastein, The Wright Bros., and Horizon.
