Jim first sat in with The Nerve to provide rhythm at venues too small for a drum kit. Now, any time The Nerve needs "that extra little push over the cliff", he's there.
Laying down the jazz trumpet after high school, Jim moved to Nashville where he was immersed in the outlaw and alt-country genres. Though he's back now into The Nerve's jazz-influenced groove, Jim is still ready to take lead for any song with the word drinkin' in the title.
